Aleppo – Three thousand families supported through the distribution of food and medicines, 1,000 homes supplied with electricity and 300 repaired homes. These are the results expected from the project “Emergency Aleppo -Help and support the Christian population affected by the conflict in the city of Aleppo, Syria” to which the Committee of the Lombardy Region, proposed by the president Roberto Maroni, has assigned a co-funding of €300,000 . The funded project was presented by the ‘Pro Terra Sancta’ and fits between international cooperation objectives, through initiatives developed in collaboration with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) that characterise the regional international strategy.
