Brussels. The exhibition “Femmineo” by Trieste artists Adriana Rigonat opened at the headquarters of the Office of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in Brussels, in the presence of the Italian Permanent Representation to the EU. The exhibition, sponsored by the Association Giuliani in the World and the Regional Council of FVG, presents twenty works dedicated to the female universe, created with mixed media on paper, fusing signs, colour, and materiality. A series of more or less tight shots, which draw from the image of the woman formed from different cultures and societies defining meanings, roles, tasks, action spaces, and from which females are not excluded or “voiceless” or “rightless”. The exhibition, held at the headquarters of the Rue du Commerce, 49, will be open until July 29. (9Colonne)
