Beijing – The Deputy Minister for Economic Development Teresa Bellanova will represent Italy at the G20 Energy to be held in China, at Yanki Lake (Beijing), tomorrow and Thursday. The focus of the G20 chaired by China is the journey to the full application of the Paris Convention; the energy development trends for 2020 and the challenge for the decarbonisation of energy and the use of innovative energy technologies that can foster innovation in the energy system. The Deputy Minister Bellanova will intervene in the first and second sessions on June 30: “Prospects for International Energy Development – Opportunities and Challenges” and “Energy Technology Innovation.” Important joint meetings are also scheduled.
