Sarajevo. ‘Emergency plans with Save the Children at Sanski Most mark the completion of an intervention package of €150,000 destined to the municipality in the context of Italy’s support towards Bosnia after the 2014 floods. The €1 million programme implemented by Foreign Minister Gentiloni and guided by the Italian Agency for Cooperation Development, looks beyond the horizon of reconstruction. The aim is to facilitate the development of the area like we have done in Sanski Most, and to create a durable preventive system for the citizen’s safety and for the safeguarding of economic activities” commented Italian Ambassador Ruggero Corrias during his presentation at Sanski Most of the new emergency plans at the municipal level. This is the result of training activities in recent months by the NGO ‘Save the Children’ with the collaboration of municipal representatives, schools and principal urban institutions in the framework of ‘Reconstruction and development after the May 2014 floods’ financed by the Italian Agency for Cooperation Development.
