Belgrade. “In un altro mondo” (In Another World) is a contest, now in its third edition, which selects four young volunteers eager to lend their help to the “corners of the world” (Brazil, Ecuador, Philippines, Serbia). Among the winners of this year’s edition is Irene Guidetti, a Construction Engineering and Architecture student from the University of Bologna who will be volunteering in Serbia. After a training camp attended by twenty finalists, with a panel of prominent speakers in the social field, the Bologna student has been selected for the “Emergency Refugee” project and will help in refugee transit camps of Sid to Middle Eastern refugees who stuck in the former Yugoslav republics due to the closure of the European Union Balkan route by distributing food, hygiene kits, clothing and giving psychological support.
