Havana – Boom Lombard trades with Cuba: in 2015 the import-export to and from the Caribbean country has in fact grown by 52.9%, from 89 million to more than 136. These numbers make Lombardy the first italian trade partner for Cuba, with a wopping 38.5% of the national total. An exports-driven boom, that in 2015 grew by 61.3% and continues to yield positive results in the first months of 2016, marking a 45% increase. These are the findings from an evaluation of Milan Chamber of Commerce based on ISTAT data at the start of a commercial development project of Milan Chamber of Commerce – Promos, its Special Agency for International Activities.
