Rosario – “It’s only a couple of days we are back in Lanciano, Abruzzo, from Argentina. Fifteen days in Rosario, the authentic, deep Argentina. Fifteen days of theater with 250 Dante Alighieri and Edmondo De Amicis students. They were engaged in theater workshops in Italian consisting of 5-6 meetings each, a meticulous school work led and created by Rossella Gesini. And with 15 adult students, a commedia dell’arte “taller” which took place at the premises of “Famiglia Abruzzesa”. And finally on July 2 in the theater with the audience, at Plataforma Lavarden, with 500 spectators, to share our latest stage effort, “Tanos”, the play that we have built on Italian emigrants in Argentina “. This was written in a note Stefano Angelucci Marino and Rossella Gesini: heads of the “Theatre in Argentina” project, produced by Teatro del Sangro and the Theatre Studio of Lanciano. (9Colonne)
