Marcinelle – Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs for Italians in the world, Vincenzo Amendola, attended the commemoration of the massacre which took place 60 years ago in the Bois du Cazier mine in Marcinelle. The ceremony was attended by Senate President Pietro Grasso, Ambassador Cristina Ravaglia, Foreign Ministry General Director for the Italians Abroad, local authorities including the Minister of Transport François Bellot representing the Belgian Federal Government, the Minister Paul Furlan representing the Walloon regional Government, and the former Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo.(9colonne)
