(10 August 2016) This week Craco, in the province of Matera, will instead be the center of Europe, a youthful, creative, dynamic Europe linked to the Erasmus project. A gamble that the administration of the small town – evacuated in 1963 due to a landslide of catastrophic proportions – wants to launch several times during the year thanks to the consolidated collaboration with the association Basilicata Link, and thanks the management of structures that can accommodate various groups. Until August 14, Cracow will be animated by the presence of 30 young people from Malta, France, Norway, Slovakia, Turkey and Italy, as part of the new Erasmus + “Stay – Small Town Active Youth” project, promoted by the local authority in collaboration with Basilicata Links for the promotion and enhancement of the landscape through theatre and photography. “Stay – Small Town Active Youth” is the second youth exchange promoted by the Administration of Cracow, after the one in 2013 and after many collaborations in various mobility projects abroad, which pursues its youth policy through the globalisation and growth of European awareness of its young people, trying to be a point of reference for inland areas and to continue a good practice to follow as territorial inclusion. ” (Red)
