(August 23, 2016) For the occasion of the fifth “Internationales Stuttgarter Orgelfestival”, the organist Sergio Orabona will perform Sunday, August 28 (19:00) in Stuttgart at St. Nikolaus Kirche. The concert was organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Stuttgart. Orabona was born from a Neapolitan family of artists. He has been playing the organ since 2012 in the catholic church of St. Nikolaus in Stuttgart. He has also been the artistic director of the International Organ Festival in Stuttgart. The artist has performed in numerous concerts throughout Europe and is considered to be an expert on Weigel’s organ.
