Havana. Alitalia arrives in Cuba. The first direct flight from Rome to Havana will take off on 29 November and will operate twice a week, on Saturdays and Tuesdays, with the flagship of the fleet, the Boeing 777. It is the fourth long-haul route inaugurated by Alitalia in 2016, after Santiago, Mexico City and Beijing. Cuba has long been a popular tourist destination for Italian travelers, but also represents growing potential for exports and the opportunity for investments in the Cuban market. (9Colonne)
