Moscow. Exports from the province of Bolzano to Russia are growing. In the first half of this year, in fact, exports to Moscow exceeded €14.2 million, an increase of 35.7% compared to last autumn. Data that is in contrasts to the Italian number from January to June, still ranks in negative territory, with a compression of 7% of ‘Made in Italy’ exports to Russia (just over €3 billion). This is what has emerged thus far during the Italian-Russian seminar in Bolzano organised by the Associazione Conoscere Eurasia in St. Petersburg, International Economic Forum, Roscongress, IDM Sudtirol in Alto Adige. According to Istat, trade between Bolzano and Russia of the first half of 2016 reached €15.3 million; an increase of 23.9% thanks to a double-digit increase in exports. On the other hand, imports fell 44.1% (€1 million). (9Colonne)
