(October 10, 2016) Thousands of elementary and junior high school students will go to the theater to sing and talk in Italian: The leading Incanto Productions, LLC enthusiastically announces the Canadian debut of the new bilingual edu-musical for schools entitled “SEMPREVERDE: EVERGREEN”. From October 24 to 27 the show, in collaboration with the Centro Scuola e Cultura Italiana and the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto “SEMPREVERDE:EVERGREEN” is an original bilingual work brought to Canada and designed to expose children and families to the beauty of the Italian language and culture. Since 2010, thousands of students have enjoyed learning Italian directly at the theatre through music and dance in New York City where the edu-musical opened. Written and directed by internationally-renowned singer, actress and award winning educator Simona Rodano, “SEMPREVERDE: EVERGREEN” is dedicated to one of the most important subjects that affect humanity: the environment. Co-directed by Eugenio Contenti (Lucca, Italy) the show features outstanding performers. It is considered a combination of language, science and environmental show that helps teachers to link the edu-musical to their curriculum. Songs are entirely in Italian. Wonderful artistry, stylish costumes and special 3D mapping effects, pop, rock music by Punto Rec Studios (Turin, Italy), an all-round player in the world of sound recording and production.
