Dubai – The University La Sapienza of Rome joins the select international group of 22 universities that will compete for two years in the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018 in Dubai, with the aim to design and build the best full-scale prototype of dwelling sustainable and energy self-sufficient. The official announcement was made, at the presence of international authorities, during the opening ceremony of the World Green Economy Summit, an annual event which takes place in Dubai, in order to update on environmental sustainability and economy. The college students competing teams, from 16 different countries of the world, were selected by an international jury following a rigorous technical review process that lasted more than three months.
