Washington. The Fulbright Foundation, The Giovanni and Franca Falcone Foundation and the National Italian American Foundation have issued two fellowships respectively to one Italian student to carry out research in a prestigious American university and one American student to carry out research at the Fondazione di Palermo. The objective of the fellowship is to commemorate the life and work of Judge Falcone and to strengthen cultural ties between Italy and the United States.
