Maputo – The Ice Agency, in collaboration with Aice/Confcommercio, under the Import Strategic Plan, will organize in November a mission in Mozambique aimed at identifying forms of collaboration with local suppliers in the agriculture, fisheries, timber, products of mines and quarries, tourism sectors. The mission will be held in Maputo from November 14 to 15. For each participant Italian company, an interpreter and a car with a driver will be made available to meet local stakeholders directly at their premises. The mission aims to support Italian companies participating to verify opportunities to buy raw materials and semi-finished products, having the chance to meet local suppliers in important sectors: agriculture (cashew chestnut, tropical fruit, fruit pulp, tobacco and cotton ); fishing (shellfish); timber (in particular for parquet hardwoods); mining and quarrying products (niobium, tantalum, vanadium, zirconium); tourism (tour operators interested in new routes).
