(3 November, 2016) Caravaggio was an audacious rebel who surpassed every limit in the course of his artistic and personal life and broke every canon with his chiaroscuro, his vistas and his realism without any compromises, has shaped the baroque period which has greatly influenced painting until our time, including photography and cinema. This will be the topic at the Beit Aba Hushi Cultural Centre of Haifa, Efi Ziv on November 7 (10:00-12:00). The conference was organised in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Haifa. Efi Ziv is a conference-goer, writer and tourism guide. Ziv completed a research doctorate on Greek mythology at the University of Louisiana, a B.A. in Art History at the University of Tel Aviv and a B.A. and M.A. in international relations at the Jewish University of Jerusalem.
