Montreal. Onofrio Donzelli, Pasqua Teora, Mauro Antonio Di Vito, Giuseppe Mazza and Donato Capece are the “Lucani insigni 2016”. Five public figures who have distinguished themselves for achievements in the social, scientific, artistic and literary fields in addition to spreading Lucanian identity abroad. Among those awarded is an Italian living abroad: Giuseppe (Joe) Mazza, BS in Food Science at the University of Manitoba, born in Pietrapertosa in 1946 and currently lives in Canada where he focused his professional career in the field research in food science and biochemical engineering. He is the founder and CEO of Mazza Innovation Ltd and often lectures at university conferences in North America, Europe and Asia. He is the author of numerous research publications. (9colonne)
