(30 November, 2016) Duo Alterno (soprano Tiziana Scandaletti and composer and pianist Riccardo Piacentini) is ready to enchant the German public in a concert titled “Images reflected” (Immagini riflesse). Friday, December 9 at 19:00 at the Italian Cultural Institute of Cologne, Duo Alterno will stage eight masterpieces of the Neapolitan Baroque repertoire, enriched by the prospective “reflections” of three other music pieces closely linked to them. The concert is staged as a musical journey in which allegorical and figurative aspects constantly recur, with a prevalence of original baroque pieces in dialogue with some of their indicative reflections on subsequent pieces that have continued to express towards Naples and its great history. Scandaletti and Piacentini present to the public the works of Scarlatti, Durante, Pergolesi, Conti, Donizetti, Tosti and Piacentini. (Red)
