(30 November 2016) Twenty-eight Italian start-ups will take part in Slush 2016- the global forum and innovation showcase to be held in Helsinki today and tomorrow. The objective of Italy’s participation in Slush 2016, organised by ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies, is to foster and encourage the presence of the start-ups, allowing Italian innovation and excellence to cross with the world’s greatest technology and computer science institutions present. For this edition ICE organises an Italy “focal point”, with the collaboration and experience of the Italian Embassy to Finland, in which start-ups, will in turn present their business ideas to investors. ICE and the Embassy will work towards guiding start-ups towards the different sections of busy Slush program, facilitating targeted meetings with potential investors and organising the rotation at the stations in the Italian focal point.
