Antananarivo – Alitalia reinforces the codeshare agreement with Air Seychelles to offer travelers the best Italian airline connections to Madagascar and South Africa. The Italian company has applied its flight ‘AZ’ code on the four weekly Air Seychelles flights between the islands of the Indian Ocean and Antananarivo, capital of Madagascar, and five weekly connections operated by the carrier of the Seychelles to Johannesburg, the largest South African city. After the necessary government approvals, Alitalia will apply its flight code also to the twice-weekly connections to Seychelles-Durban which will start on March 30, 2017. In this way, thanks to the code-sharing between the two companies, the Italian travelers can fly with a single ticket to Paris or Abu Dhabi with Alitalia, from there reach the Seychelles with Air Seychelles flights and then on to Madagascar or South Africa.
