(30 December, 2016) Starting January 2, all RAI regional news will be available on Rai Italia, the channel for Italians living abroad. There will be a continuous alternation among the regions in order to provide a completely global coverage. The two main news services at 14:00 and 19:30 will be broadcasted. This initiative was envisioned by Direzione Rai Gold, which oversees different kinds of channels as well as Rai World. This falls under the fruitful work of consolidation and modernisation of RAI’s international venture which has been highly requested by Italians living abroad.
