Maputo. The activity of the ‘Centro Interdisciplinare di Bioacustica e Ricerche Ambientali’ (CIBRA- Interdisciplinary Centre for Bioacoustics and Environmental Research) of the University di Pavia focuses on recording and analysing animal and non-animal sounds in the sea and on land. Among its most recent projects is mapping man-made underwater sounds in the Mediterranean and monitoring Mozambique dugongs. (9colonne)
