La Paz – In recent days in La Paz, in an event organized by the Ministry of Bolivia, it was held the presentation of the book ‘Amazonía sin Fuego’, the photographic narrative of the initiative promoted by the Italian Cooperation, through technical training and the promotion of alternatives to the use of fire in agricultural and production activities, aimed at reducing forest fires in the Amazon region of Bolivia. The volume, enhanced by shots of RAI journalist Liza Boschin, collects the experiences of Amazonía sin Fuego Program (ASFP), one of the best practices of our cooperation in the field of environmental conservation and sustainable development in rural areas which, after the excellent results obtained in Brazil (1999-2009), was launched at first in Bolivia and, from 2016, in Ecuador.
