(30 January 2017) “He who dances walks on water and into a flame” wrote the Spanish poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca- moved by a breath-taking form of communication. Paolo Mangiola knows this all too well. Mangiola is a dancer, choreographer and teacher who divides his time between Rome and London. He has carried out his freelance artistic activity throughout Europe for several years. As a professional dancer, he danced for some of the best international contemporary dance companies. In Belgrade, he will perform at Misker House in a choreography created in collaboration with the Croatian choreographer, Stasa Zurovac. The ‘Fondazione Nazionale della Danza di Aja’ (National Aja Dance Foundation) with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade for this occasion will present a performance which will see the participation of young dancers from the foundation.
