Ulm. Italian firefighters have been classified as the best in the world at the ‘World of Firefighters- Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award 2016’. This award goes to firefighters all over the world that have distinguished themselves in efficiency and bravery. Italian firefighters were selected for their efforts in the areas struck by the earthquake on 14 August 2016. Four members of the Italian firefighters will be present during the ceremony to accept the award in Uln, Germany: Raimondo Montana Lampo, Antonio Di Malta, Oronzo Passabi, and Giovanni Salzano.
