Niamey. The Italian Ambassador to Niger arrived yesterday. This was announced by Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano at a press conference with his German counterpart, Sigmar Gabriel. “The ambassador’s presence in Libya has helped us reach an agreement with the Sarraj administration. We are convinced that the presence of our ambassador there, will help us to enter an agreement with Niger” according to Alfano, head of the Italian Diplomatic Mission. “This is a job we are doing for Europe” he further stressed.
