Ankara. Deputy Foreign Secretary Vincenzo Amendola’s visit to Turkey continues. Yesterday at the Italian Embassy he met with representatives of civil society and think tanks, members of the press and Turkish academia. His tour ends today with two other appointments. The first is with Jean-Marie Garelli, UNHCR Deputy Representative followed by an encounter with Selin Sayek Böke, Vice President and Spokesman of the Republican People’s Party – CHP. At the centre of the debate topics are the situation in Libya, Syria and Iraq, immigration and security with a particular focus on collaboration in the fight against terrorism. (9Colonne)
