New York. Today ends the Italian Foreign Minister Alfano’s mission to the United States in New York and Washindton D.C. Today at 9:00 he will be at the breakfast at the great glass building for the launch of the “Happiness Report” with UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, Jeffrey Sachs. After the breakfast Alfano will proceed to the Italian Representation to the UN where he will meet with the leading US Jewish associations (American Jewish Committee, Anti-defamation League, B’nai B’rith International, Conference of Presidents, J Street Education Fund, and World Jewish Congress). At 11:30, Alfano will then meet with members of the press for a brief review followed by a one-to-one meeting with the US representative to the UN, Nikki Haley; lunch with high Italian officials. Alfano’s meeting with UN Secretary-General Antònio Guterres at 16:00 closes his New York itinerary after which he will proceed to Washington. (9colonne)
