Brussels – “Social initiatives undertaken by the Lombardy Region were presented at the European Social Services Conference in Brussels on April 20 and 21”. So says a note of the Lombardy Region. The Region, represented by the Directorate General of Income of Autonomy and Social Inclusion, illustrated, in the course of the triennial Social Services Forum, organized by the European Social Network, its innovative model of responding to the needs of citizens, a European example of effectiveness and Efficiency in social services. “The argument presented – concludes the Note – was the Autonomy Income, A timely, temporary social support, stimulating personal responsibility.
