Paris. With monologues of “Ferite a Morte” (Wounded to Death (Rizzoli, 2013), Serena Dandini talks about “victims of feminicide” – their lives and dramas. Dandini’s work is based on Maura Misiti’s research and transcends the noir black story and raised a structural reflection on the violence inflicted on women. These monologues have been read publicly in Italy and abroad will be the protagonists of the meeting scheduled for the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris on May 15th. Translated into French by Lucie Comparini with students of Paris-Sorbonne; the reading was organised in France by Stéphane Miglierina with theatrical atelier “La Mascareta”. Serena Dandini, journalist and writer, will propose a multi-voiced meeting, interspersed with readings and extracts from scenes along with Maura Misiti, Lucie Comparini, Antonella Capra, Stéphane Miglierina and the students of the company “La Mascareta”.
