Rabat – Thursday, the Soleterre Foundation – Peace Strategies held a 10am conference at the Hotel Rabat of the homonymous capital of Morocco to present to journalists, institutions and other social support organizations on the ground the birth of a Web Radio Managed by single mothers. The initiative is an integral part of “Mères En Ligne” (Mothers in the forefront), an active project since 2015 in their defense and support. The first broadcast, in Arabic, will be heard on the same day, at 3PM (Italian time), to the following link: www.radiomeresenligne.ma. In Morocco, even today, pregnancy outside marriage is a transgression to the cultural, social and religious norms. Mothers are excluded from their families and their social environment. (9colonne)
