Skopje. “I express my appreciation for the decision of the President of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Ivanov, to entrust Zoran Zaev with the mandate to form a new Executive branch” stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Angelino Alfano, as reported from the Farnesina. “This is an important attempt to resolve the current difficult political crisis. We hope that in the near future, in Skopje, a new government will be formed, supported by a parliamentary majority and committed to adopting internal reforms essential for a rapid resumption of the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic path. In this perspective, the former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia will continue to rely on Italy’s support, including its current role of President of the Western Balkans Process”. (9colonne)
