Bratislava – Guglielmo Poletti will be hosted by Bratislava Design Week. The appointment is June 7th. The theme of this edition of Bratislava Design Week Bratislava is “the limit”, a concept that can be understood as a significant factor in the design of a design object and in general in its creation. The Italian guest of the 2017 edition is Guglielmo Poletti (1987), a promising Milan designer who explores the limits of materials in his work. After completing his studies in his hometown, at IED in Milan, he joined the DAE (Design Academy Eindhoven), where he obtained his master’s degree at the Department of Contextual Design. His first collection, Linescapes, who has been introduced to Milan Design Week 2014, highlights very essential lines. He has recently exhibited at Milan Design Week 2017, at Rossana Orlandi Space in Milan; Poletti is also among the participants in the Supports / Surfaces exhibition at the Seeds Gallery in London. Poletti in Bratislava will present his work at Zoya Gallery and will also attend the BADW Design Lectures conference on June 7, at the Church of the Clarisse in Bratislava. (9colonne)
