Ankara – Special technical consultancy services, exchange of knowledge on innovative technologies for railway development, engineering and management of engineering services and supervision of infrastructure construction work, management and acquisition of trains, wagons and coaches and rail diagnostic services. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Italian and Turkish Railways signed in Rome by Renato Mazzoncini, Managing Director and General Manager of FS Italiane, and Isa Apaydin, General Manager of Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet Demiryolları (TCDD), defines cooperation in numerous railway technical areas. The MoU also strengthens the strong cooperation already existing between Italian and Turkish Railways. Over the past 15 years, FS Group has provided TCDD consulting services through RFI, Trenitalia, Italferr and Italcertifer. The Italian company FS Engineering Company Italferr has allowed eight months ahead of schedule in December 2016 for Eurasia tunnel work (8,4 km), highway under the Bosphorus planned to connect the city’s Asian shore to the European one.
