(26 May 2017) Everything is ready in the Czech Republic for the XXIII edition of the 13th International Music Festival “Concentus Moraviae” (June 3 – 29) offering more than thirty concerts in castles, churches and synagogues of numerous locations in southern Moravia and the Vysocina region. This edition, edited by Maestro Václav Luks, is devoted to the theme of human voice and song in all its forms, from choral to popular music, from baroque to jazz. A special emphasis was placed on Claudio Monteverdi on the occasion of his 450th birthday. The Festival will host harpsichordist, organist, orchestra conductor and artistic director of the Cantar Lontano ensemble in the residence of artist Marco Mencoboni. The event will also feature the participation of many other Italian artists. The concerts are sponsored by the Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Aldo Amati, and held in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture of Prague. (Red
