Cairo. On the occasion of the third International Exchange of Italian-Arab Companies, which took place in Cagliari on March 17 and 18, an important meeting on Egypt was organised with the Italian Embassy. The event was attended by Galal M. Elsawy (Plenipotentiary Minister of Commerce of the Egyptian Embassy to Italy), Raimondo Schiavone (Vice-President and Managing Director of the Italian-Arab Cooperation Chamber), Alberto Scanu (President of Confindustria Sardegna), and Stefano Mameli (Secretary of Confartigianato Sardegna). During the meeting, the diplomatic representative explained to the participating companies the interesting investment opportunities in a number of production sectors, in particular food, energy, tourism, and harbours available in Egypt. This was an important opportunity to provide companies that participated in the International Exchange with detailed information on the processes of internationalisation, export, and investments in Egypt.
