Paris – Minister of Economy and Finance, Pier Carlo Padoan and Minister for Economic Development, Carlo Calenda met at the Palazzo delle Finanze with French Minister of Economy, Bruno Le Maire. “The meeting, very friendly and constructive allowed us to see the common interest of Italy and France in starting a collaboration on the policies of the European Union and the euro area. The ministers also addressed the issue of Fincantieri’s role in Chantiers de l’Atlantique. In view of the two countries’ opening up to direct foreign investment, the talks will continue for a common solution in a timely manner”. (9Colonne)
