Ho Chi Minh. In the framework of the 2017 marketing activity, the ICE-Agency is organising- in collaboration with the Assomac Association – an Italian collective at the Shoes and Leather Fair, in Ho Chi Minh from July 12-14. Vietnam is considered a highly productive market for Italian leather technology. It is ranked fourth in the world as a footwear manufacturer with a production of 770 million pairs of shoes annually, of which 650 are exported. The local shoe industry includes a total of 900 companies, with 1,400 production lines. Footwear firms are mainly concentrated in the provinces of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai in the South, Hai Phong, and Hanoi in the North. (9Colonne)
