(14 July 2017) Hit Week is the most important Italian music festival in the world. The festival makes a comeback in November with 11 tour dates in Europe, the United States, and Canada and the protagonist of this new edition will be Ermal Meta. Among the most affirmed artists of the new Italian music and among the most prolific artists, Ermal Meta is on tour with the double album “Vietato Morire” (Forbidden to Die) already a gold album and platinum single in the top 20 of the best-sellers in Italy since February. The tour, which began in April throughout Italy, has already recorded several sold out concerts. In 9 years Hit Week, organised by Music Experience with the participation of FIMI (Italian Music Industry Federation), ICE (Foreign Trade Institute) and Puglia Sounds / Medimex; has welcomed over 100 Italian artists: Elisa, Einaudi, Caparezza, Gazzè, Negrita, Subsonica, Battiato, and Canzoniere Grecanico are some of the musicians who performed at HIT WEEK in China, Japan, United States, Canada, Brazil, and many cities European. In addition to the event, as per the HIT WEEK tradition, there will be parties, Dj Sets, wine, and food tastings, and networking; all in the name of Italian creativity. These are the scheduled dates: November 1, Lugano (Club Foce); 2, Berlin (Maschinehaus); 4, Amsterdam (Melkweg); 6, Brussels (Le Botanique); 8, Paris (Pop In); 9, London (93 Feet East); 10, Dublin (Grand Social); 12, Barcelona (Sala Boveda); 13, Madrid (Sala Caracol); 17, Miami (North Beach Bandshell); 19, Toronto (Mod Club). Ermal Meta’s shows are realised with the contribution of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) Sillumina – Private Copy for Young People, for culture. Thanks to the collaboration with Puglia Sounds / Medimex, each concert will see some of the most prominent members of the Puglia musical scene that will be announced in September.
