Sau Paulo. ‘Profondo Rosso’, a masterpiece by Dario Argento from 1975 was screened on July 17th at the Italian Cultural Institute of Sao Paulo, the film marks a fundamental passage from Argento’s thriller and the horror stage during his career, with fascinating plots and in some ways truly innovative for those years: during a conference on parapsychology, a German medium sensed the presence of someone hiding homicidal thoughts in the room. The same evening, the woman was murdered. The screening is part of the film programme organized by the IIC of Sao Paulo with the valuable support of Oscar L. Marzorati. (9Colonne)
