Professor Luisa Maria Bellussi, Associate Professor in the Department of Medical, Surgical and Neuroscience at the University of Siena, was elected as a member of the IFOS Executive Board. The board consists of 21 members representing the 130 countries that are part of IFOS. The board consists of 21 members representing 130 member countries of IFOS. Italy had no members involved for more than 35 years. Professor Bellussi, who will remain in charge for the next 4 years, teaches Otolaryngology and Audiology and Phonology in various courses at the University of Siena.
