(25 July 2017) Stockholm Pride is scheduled to take place in the Swedish capital from July 31st to August 6th. Stockholm Pride has been a tradition since 1998. It is a recurring event attended also by the Italian Institute of Culture of Stockholm which is part of the EUNIC cluster (European Union National Institutes for Culture), which this year actively participates in the programme for the first time. In fact, at the Stockholm Pride, the Italian Institute of Culture, together with other members of the EUNIC cluster, promotes “Eleutheria”: a festival dedicated to LGTBQI + issues accompanied by a film review, two round tables with local and international guests and the participation in the traditional parade. The IIC inaugurates the initiative on Monday, July 31th at 15:00 at Klarabiografen, with Sebastiano Riso’s film, “Più buio di mezzanotte” (Dark than Midnight). (Red)
