Export Development Fund, the Sace based fund managed by Amundi SGR, signed a 10-million-euro bond issued by Coswell, an Emilia Romagna group active in personal care, health food and perfumery. With this issue, Coswell resorts to the capital market to support the new international growth plan by differentiating its sources of funding. The new resources are intended to support the costs of acquiring new distribution channels and the promotion of corporate brands, thus increasing exports to Europe’s markets, particularly Poland, France, Germany and Austria. The Group will also be able to cope with the commercial investments for the development of the Japanese subsidiary, a bridge company for the Far East economies. “With this operation, we are partnering with Coswell, the leader of a group of family-run companies, in a medium-long term project aimed at developing overseas markets,” said Bernardo Attolico, SACE’s Debt Capital Market Director. The capital market offers interesting opportunities for those companies that, with the right amount of dynamism and responsiveness, want to use different financial solutions to give new impetus to their investment plans.”
