Brussels. A century after his death, from September 14th to November 8th, the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels will pay homage to Ettore Sottsass, a leading figure of 20th-century Italian design, with the exhibition “Ettore Sottsass. Smalti 1958 “. Thanks to the curators and collectors Fulvio and Napoleone Ferrari, founders of the Casa Mollino Museum in Turin, the exhibition includes a collection of 60 enameled pieces (vases, plates, glasses, etc.), completed by a series of autograph sketches and heliographies colored by Sottsass with wax crayons. The event is organised by the IIC in Brussels for the “September of Brussels Design”. Guess are required to RSVP to attend the opening. (9Colonne)
