Lima – Terna, through its subsidiary Terna Plus, has closed a deal for the construction of new electrical infrastructure in Peru. According to the terms of the contract, over the next 36 months, Terna will build and commission a 138-kV power line, 132 km long, which will connect the substations of Aguaytía and Pucallpa, in the region of Ucayali. The license, which Terna was awarded at the end of May 2017 following the call for tender issued by Proinversion – the agency which manages investments for the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Peru – has a duration of thirty years and a value of around 9 million US dollars, also taking into account the enhancement planned for the two existing substations.
