Tobruk – The Chairman of the Senate Defense Committee, Nicola Latorre, on a mission to Libya, visited the Tobruk Parliament(Libyan House of Representatives), invited by the Chairman of the Defense Commission, Talal Al-Maihub. Senator Latorre, accompanied by the Ambassador of Italy to Tripoli, Giuseppe Perrone, met with Parliament Speaker Aghila Saleh and a delegation of Defense Committee members led by President Al-Maihub. “During the meetings, we highlighted the common will to strengthen the historic link between Italy and Libya, Latorre explains, continuing the ongoing engagement and numerous initiatives undertaken in each field.
