Tokyo – The movie “Il Cratere” by Silvia Luzi and Luca Bellino will represent Italy at the Tokyo Festival, which will take place from October 25 to November 3, 2017. The movie was welcomed by a ten minutes applause at the last Venice Film Festival and is the only Italian film competing to compete for the Grand Prix in the main Asian festival. The jury headed by Tommy Lee Jones will choose among the 15 titles of the international competition, including the latest movies by Margaret Von Trotta movie and by Turkish director Semih Kaplanoglu and a female drama starring Vanessa Paradis.
