Hamburg – On the occasion of the International Translation Day “Hieronymus 2017”, a special event will be held in Hamburg tomorrow, during which the best translators will present their work from Italian, French and Spanish. On this occasion, professionals will dress the “transparent translators” by involving the public and show the adventurous ways and routes of passage from one language to another. The audience will see the original text on screen and, at the same time, will see the translation becoming apparent. The public will be the protagonist of the event to which it will actively participate and will help professionals in defining the “nuances” of the translations. The event, scheduled for the Zentralbibliothek, is organized by Weltlesebühne, Hamburger Öffentliche Bücherhallen, with the support of the Robert-Bosch Foundation
