(1 dicembre 2017) The highly requested Maestro Gabriele Ciampi returns in concert in Italy with “The 5th Year Tour” and, for the occasion he celebrates his “first” five years of live performance career around the world. After his concerts have all sold out, standing ovations from the public, and magnificent reviews by the critics, the composer and conductor will perform at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome on New Year’s Day (Sala Petrassi , 18:00). “To return to Rome, my city, and to the Auditorium Parco della Musica for the fifth just when we celebrate together the first five years of live concerts around the world, is a great joy. In Italy everything started in 2012, in these first years of my career I had the honour of crossing the threshold of prestigious places (from the White House to the Vatican) and working with musicians, permanent orchestras, and young talents of great quality”. Ciampi is currently taking part in an international tour which started in March at the Italian Embassy in Washington accompanied by the prestigious National Symphony Orchestra – which will end in the spring of 2018 at The Broad Stage in Los Angeles, where the Maestro will direct the famous Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra. The composer was recently invited by the Recording Academy to represent Italy in the Grammy Awards 2018 jury: “I am proud to represent our country and our musical tradition at the Grammy Awards.
